TSA Checkpoint Friendly Laptop Briefs

With more than 700 million travelers passing through airport security checkpoints yearly, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) recently began introducing changes to passenger screening at the checkpoints to expedite the security check-in process, while maintaining the effectiveness of its security strategies. Acknowledging that the check-in process may be tedious due to the screening of travelers' shoes, coats, laptops, and other personal items in individual bins, the TSA has attempted to streamline the security process. The TSA has tried to consolidate the security streaming process by encouraging manufacturers to design "Checkpoint Friendly" bags that will produce a clear and unobstructed image of the laptop when undergoing X-ray screening, allowing laptops to remain in bags for screening.

Bag manufacturers have developed checkpoint friendly laptop briefs with a "security fast pass" component that helps travelers get through U.S. airport security screenings quickly by keeping their laptop in separate compartment, apart from the rest of their belongings. Since the goal of the "Checkpoint Friendly" bags is to ensure that there is nothing above or below the laptop compartment, security fast pass laptop briefs have another section that allows travelers to store their electronics, cords, files, and other travel items separately.

Promotional TSA friendly laptop briefs are a great corporate gift item for frequent flyers and traveling businesspeople who need to shave a few minutes off of the security screening process to breathe a little easier before their flights. It will also give your company some additional exposure as other travelers see your company name on these unique laptop briefs. While the functionality of these laptop briefs varies minimally, the quality of these travel friendly briefs can vary depending on its manufacturers, which include Victorinox, Callaway, Soren, among many others.
