Brain teasers and puzzles have become a popular gift for any creative position. Brain teasers like the X-ball are meant to train employees to think outside of the box and develop problem solving skills.
Even on an executive level, these puzzles are gaining momentum. One of my personal favorites is the Ball of Whacks. The ball has 30 pieces that stick together with magnets. It comes with a 96 page instruction book for challenge suggestions.
The idea is to inspire creativity... and it's fun to play with when you come across a mental road block!
